Get VPN Super for iPhone, Android, Windows, or Mac from the download page.
Open the app, sign in, and pick Fastest Location, or choose from 100+ locations in 60+ countries.
Tap Connect, wait a moment, then open Reddit. Your school or work network won't see the traffic.
Already have Reddit installed? Connect VPN Super first. Your account and saved posts stay exactly as they are.
Schools, offices, and campus Wi-Fi often block Reddit by domain to limit browsing during class or work.
Sometimes Reddit itself blocks the connection, not your network, with a different fix covered below.
Some countries and ISPs restrict Reddit at the network level, no matter which device or browser you use.
| Issue | Solution guidance |
|---|---|
| Reddit still blocks you after connecting | Switch to a different server in the VPN Super app. The IP, not the VPN itself, is usually what's flagged. |
| Switching protocols didn't help | That's expected. Protocol changes don't clear an IP-reputation flag, but a different server (a different IP) does. |
| It works on one server but not another | Normal. Reddit's IP checks vary by server. Try Fastest Location or a nearby alternative. |
| Reddit loads but images or previews don't | Reconnect once. This is usually a stale connection, not a block. |
| It happens again after a while | Reconnect to refresh your IP. This is more common on free, shared VPNs; VPN Super actively manages its server IPs to keep this rare. |
Reddit doesn't need much bandwidth. What it needs is a connection that doesn't get flagged and doesn't get filtered.
V2Ray protocol is designed to bypass deep packet inspection in heavily restricted countries. Available on iOS and Android.
Premium servers run at up to 10Gbps — fast enough for HD video calls without buffering.
WireGuard adds minimal delay to your connection — essential for voice and video calls.
Choose a server where Reddit isn't blocked, or pick one near your contact for better call quality.
No technical setup. Download, tap Connect, and start using Reddit immediately.
Keep other apps on your regular connection while Reddit uses the VPN. Reduces CAPTCHAs and detection. Available on Android.
Message, call, and video chat without hitting bandwidth limits.
One Premium subscription covers your phone, tablet, laptop, and PC.
VPN Super doesn't track or store what you do online.
The free plan handles everyday Reddit browsing on iPhone and Android. Premium opens up the rest.

Most of the time it's a school or workplace filter, or a network-level restriction in certain countries. VPN Super routes your connection through a different server so those filters don't see Reddit traffic at all.
Reddit flags IP addresses with a poor reputation, usually shared or overused server IPs, rather than detecting VPN use itself. A well-maintained server network is what makes the difference.
That message is triggered by IP reputation, not VPN use itself. It usually means the specific IP you connected through has been flagged, often because it's shared, free, or overused. Switching to a different server clears it; changing protocols alone won't.
VPN use is legal in most countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and most of the EU. A few countries restrict VPNs or specific platforms regardless of which app you use. VPN Super is built to protect your privacy and security, not to get around local rules. Always check the regulations where you are.
Yes. Connecting to any VPN Super server routes your traffic outside the local network filter, which is the most common case this solves.
On iOS and Android, Super protocol and V2Ray are built for tougher, more restrictive networks. Auto mode picks the best available option for your connection, so you don't have to choose manually.
Yes, on iPhone and Android. The free plan covers fewer server locations than Premium, so try a different server if your first choice doesn't get you through.
Not always. Reddit has also restricted parts of its mobile website independent of any network block, which a VPN can't fix. If Reddit loads fine on one network but not another, that's the sign you're dealing with a block VPN Super can solve.
