No technical setup. Fastest Location handles most blocks; pick a country directly for a country-level restriction.
Download VPN Super for your phone, laptop, or desktop and sign in.
Tap a server, or let Fastest Location auto-pick the lowest-latency option for you.
Head to Gemini in your browser or app. Your connection is already private.
VPN Super shows the current latency in milliseconds next to every server, and Fastest Location auto-picks the quickest one, so you see the real number instead of guessing.
Google's own documentation puts the Gemini web app in more than 230 countries and territories and 70+ languages, expanding gradually "in a way that's consistent with local regulations and our AI principles." Mainland China is the clear exception, listed as Workspace-only access. Google briefly delayed the EU launch of its AI chatbot in 2023 over privacy-regulator concerns; the EU is included in today's 230+ country list.
Google's 18+ language applies to the Gemini API and AI Studio, its developer tools. The consumer Gemini app and web experience set their own age rules, which vary by region, so don't assume the developer limit applies to your everyday account.
Many school and workplace networks filter generative-AI domains as a category, independent of which country you're in. If Gemini loads on mobile data but not on office or campus Wi-Fi, that's network-level filtering, not a Google restriction.
| Issue | Solution guidance |
|---|---|
| Gemini won't load in your country | Google's Gemini web app is available in more than 230 countries and territories, expanding gradually in line with local regulations. Mainland China is the one confirmed, ongoing exception, where Gemini is Workspace-only. VPN Super routes your connection through one of its servers, which restores access on a restricted network. |
| Gemini loads on mobile data but not on school or work Wi-Fi | That's network-level filtering, not a Google restriction. Many school and workplace networks filter generative-AI domains as a category. VPN Super's encrypted tunnel gets Gemini traffic past that kind of network-level filter. |
| Gemini feels slower after you connect | Some speed reduction is normal with any VPN, because of encryption and routing. VPN Super shows the current latency in milliseconds next to every server, and Fastest Location auto-picks the quickest one, so you see the real number instead of guessing. |
Every claim below is scoped to what each platform actually supports right now.
Built to slip past deep packet inspection and filtering, keeping Gemini loading on restricted networks.

Windows and Mac keep your DNS lookups and IPv6 traffic inside the tunnel, so nothing leaks outside it.

Amazing app! I've been able to access different applications that were once banned in my region.
Fast, reliable, and works where others don't. Works across Asia, even China. Great for public Wi-Fi.
This is one of the best apps you can get if you're trying to access content while travelling internationally.
Yes. Gemini checks your apparent network location and account region, and VPN Super routes your connection through one of its servers. That restores access on a restricted network rather than working around anything.
Google's own documentation lists the Gemini web app in more than 230 countries and territories and 70+ languages, expanding gradually "in a way that's consistent with local regulations." Mainland China is the one confirmed, ongoing exception, where Gemini is Workspace-only.
Often, yes, independent of where you live. Plenty of school and corporate networks filter generative-AI domains as a category. It's the same pattern that affects Telegram and WhatsApp on some networks. VPN Super's encrypted tunnel gets Gemini traffic past that kind of network-level filter.
Not necessarily; it depends which surface you mean. Google's 18+ requirement applies to the Gemini API and AI Studio, its developer tools. The consumer Gemini app and web experience set their own, region-specific age rules, so check your Google account settings for the policy that applies to you.
Some speed reduction is normal with any VPN, because of encryption and routing. VPN Super shows the current latency in milliseconds next to every server, and Fastest Location auto-picks the quickest one, so you see the real number instead of guessing.
The free version is available on iOS and Android, with ads and a smaller server list (iOS: 20 countries/42 locations; Android: 15/26). Premium unlocks a larger server list (iOS: 64/104; Android: 58/78), which helps in regions where free-tier servers get crowded or blocked.
VPN Super keeps no activity logs on any platform, so what you ask Gemini isn't something VPN Super stores. Windows and Mac also include DNS and IPv6 leak protection to keep your traffic inside the tunnel; that protection isn't available on iOS or Android.
Up to 10 devices on a single subscription, so your phone, laptop, tablet, and the rest of your setup can all stay connected to Gemini at once.
VPN use is legal in most places, but rules vary by country. Check your local laws before connecting, especially if you're in a region with specific restrictions on VPN use.
VPN Super's own App Store, Google Play, and direct-download distribution isn't available in every country, including mainland China, Iran, and Russia. If you're in one of those regions, check platform availability before you build a plan around a specific location.
Download VPN Super, connect, and pick up your Gemini conversation right where you left off.
