China and Turkmenistan block Facebook outright. Other countries restrict it during unrest or elections.
Some networks slow or filter social apps during busy hours, even when Facebook isn't blocked outright.
Schools, offices, and campus Wi-Fi often block social apps by domain or port to limit personal use.
Some Pages, Groups, or Marketplace listings are limited in specific countries even when Facebook loads fine.
Where VPN Super's own apps aren't available:
If you're heading to one of these countries, download VPN Super before you go. You won't be able to get it once you're there.
| Issue | Solution guidance |
|---|---|
| Facebook won't load after you connect | The server you picked may be busy or filtered. Switch to a different server in the VPN Super app and reconnect. |
| Facebook flags a new login or asks to verify your identity | This is normal—Facebook checks logins from unfamiliar locations. Verify your identity as usual; it isn't a sign your account was compromised. |
| Photos and video load slowly | Try a different server with lower latency, or pick Fastest Location and let VPN Super choose for you. |
| App won't update on a blocked network | Connect VPN Super first, then open your app store. Some networks block app store endpoints too. |

This is a great VPN. I have had a great experience with it. Thanks to the developers. I love it up to today. I continue to enjoy it. My country blocked FB but with this app, access is clear
Amazing app! I've been able to access different applications that were once banned in my region
Fast, reliable, and works where others don't. Works across Asia, even China. Great for public Wi-Fi.
Governments in a handful of countries, including China and Turkmenistan, block Facebook outright. Elsewhere, schools, workplaces, and public networks restrict it locally to limit personal use or manage bandwidth.
Fastest Location is a good default. If Facebook is blocked at the government level—like in China or Turkmenistan—a nearby, well-connected country such as Singapore or the UK often gives the best speed. For school or work Wi-Fi blocks, any server outside that network works just as well.
VPN use is legal in most countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and most of the EU. A few countries restrict VPN use itself, regardless of Facebook—always check local rules where you are.
No. A VPN changes your network-level access, not Facebook's own account enforcement. If Facebook has banned or restricted your account, reconnecting from a different location won't reverse that decision.
Not by default if you're logged in. VPN Super hides your IP address and encrypts your traffic, but Facebook can still recognize your account once you sign in.
